1987 – 2004
I was born in 1987 on Thursday, 24th September as the second born in a family of five (5). At the age of 4, I was in Pre-School at Girls’ Brigade Nursery School only for a year and later enrolled in Primary school (Grade 1 to 7) at Mipundu Primary School. In Grade 7 (1999) I sat for exams and passed to Grade 8 which is Junior Secondary School at Buteko Basic School until I sat for another final exam in Grade 9 (2001). I passed to Grade 10 for Senior Secondary Education at Luanshya Boys High School. During that period I met a guy who used to repair computers at school and made friends with him for the purpose of learning from him. Little did I know that this was the start of a great professional career in IT. In Grade 12 (2004), I sat for the final GCE exams as I continued repairing computers, installing hardware, software and troubleshooting. I had also learnt to produce music and video from another person through coaching.
2005 – 2016
In 2005 I worked in a Non-governmental organisation as a youth peer educator, acting and facilitating role-plays and drama. In 2006 I enrolled for the Diploma in Management of Information Systems which I completed in 2007. In 2008 I continued working in the NGO as the Information Systems Officer until 2010 when I became the Youth Program Manager for a South African NGO (GOLD Peer Education). As I worked, I was also running my small business in computing and graphics design. In December 2014, I resigned from the NGO so as to concentrate on expanding my business into a multinational company. In a quest to do so, I applied for a GIFT Training at SuperSport International Company which I completed in December 2015. I am currently working as a Freelance Graphics Operator and developing my business.
This experience and exposure is necessary for the achievement of my academic and professional goals. I look forward to studying further on the skills I have gotten from coaching and mentorship which include Art, Music, Film & Cinematography, Photography, and IT.
